BOARD CHAIRMAN

Rev. Alexander D. Palmer

Pr. Alex as he is famously referred to, has been at the helm of Ambassadors of Hope since its inception. He has been there from when there was almost no resources to when tens of thousands of children have been taken through school and their lives completely transformed. Pr. Alex ensures that Ambassadors of Hope is still moving in the right direction as far as its vision and mission are concerned; continually ensuring that funds are raised and new partners come on board to facilitate the ambitions of the organization. He is a highly skilled and knowledgeable servant of the Lord and will preach the gospel of Jesus Christ at any given opportunity. 

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Mrs. Robinah Lubwama

Mummy Robinah, as she is affectionately known, possesses a profound compassion for children. Her longstanding aspiration has been to support the most vulnerable and less-privileged children, providing them with hope and opportunities. In 1985, she collaborated with Mr. Paul Matembe, Auntie Christine, and other colleagues to establish this organization. Mummy Robinah is deeply committed to philanthropy, often stating, “If you are not giving, you are not living.” She believes that this organization has enabled her to extend her compassion to numerous individuals and children.

Alongside Mrs. Christine Bukenya, Mr. Tony Mwebe and Mr. Paul Matembe, Mrs. Robinah Lubwama has witnessed remarkable transformations, as children who once faced dire circumstances have overcome significant challenges to achieve success. She is passionate about seeing Ambassadors of Hope continue and expand this vital work, particularly by reaching out to rural areas to spread love and hope. Her vision includes empowering the young individuals who have been nurtured by the organization to carry forward its mission and achieve even greater accomplishments.

INTERNATIONAL DIRECTOR

Ms. Suzanne M. Nelson

Ms. Suzanne Nelson has been part of the team for as long as Ambassadors of Hope has been in existence. She was and has always been a key player in resource mobilization and fundraising programs. She has put to play invaluable skills of corporate governance and development through the years. She has been vital in ensuring Ambassadors of Hope withers any storm that came to it through out its existence. Her devotion to the work of this organization make her a special member of our team.

FINANCE & ADMINISTRATION DIRECTOR

Mr. Tony Mwebe 

Mr. Mwebe oversees all financial activities within the organization, primarily managing budgets and supervising accountants across our various program centers. He joined Ambassadors of Hope in 2000 and has since cultivated a strong relationship with the organization. Although he does not work directly with the children, his extensive experience and skills in multiple fields significantly contribute to our team. Tony reflects, “I began my journey with this organization as a young man. Over the years, I have grown, married, and now have four children. This organization has profoundly shaped me both spiritually and mentally. It is always fulfilling to provide hope, love, and joy to others. That is the essence of Ambassadors of Hope, and it is what we strive to continue. Looking ahead, we aim to expand our impact even further.” This narrative exemplifies trust, patience, and perseverance in bringing hope through education to empower the next generation.
