GET TO KNOW US BETTER
Bukoto Community Primary School was established in 1994, originally known as Eden Literacy School in Wandegeya under the leadership of Bishop Harry Morris Bukenya at Eden Revival Church. Classes were initially held in the church auditorium until 2007 when the school relocated to Bukoto, where it remains today. The school was renamed Bukoto Community Primary School upon its move.
Since its inception, the school has served students from the surrounding areas of Katanga, Mulago, Kalerwe, Makerere, Bukoto, and Wandegeya slums. Many of these students come from families unable to afford school fees, leading to potential involvement in negative behaviors. Ambassadors of Hope has been a steadfast supporter of the school, fully funding over 150 students and assisting with daily operations.
While the school now enrolls privately paying students, the fees remain affordable for low-income families without compromising on the quality of education provided.
