Where Compassion Met Purpose and Hope Was Born

In the 1980s, Uganda was a nation in turmoil. War had left deep scars families were torn apart, communities were broken, and countless children were left orphaned, abandoned, and without hope.

Amid this darkness, two hearts responded with compassion.

Mama Robinah Lubwama

At the same time, in the heart of Uganda, Mama Robinah Lubwama witnessed the devastating effects of war firsthand.

Children wandered without shelter. Families had been destroyed. Hope seemed distant.

But Mama Robinah responded with extraordinary courage.

She opened her home to the homeless. She embraced the abandoned as her own. She provided not only shelter but love, care, and the opportunity for education.

The Late Daddy Ray Bernnet

n the 1980s, at a time when Uganda was facing deep social and economic challenges, the late Daddy Ray Bennett arrived on a mission that would forever change thousands of lives.

What he encountered was heartbreaking countless orphaned and vulnerable children, abandoned by circumstance, with no access to education, no direction, and little hope for the future.

But where many saw despair, he saw potential.

He chose not to look away.

Instead, he made a life changing decision to stand in the gap.
