Where Compassion Met Purpose and Hope Was Born

In the 1980s, Uganda was a nation in turmoil. War had left deep scars families were torn apart, communities were broken, and countless children were left orphaned, abandoned, and without hope.

Amid this darkness, two hearts responded with compassion.

Who we are

Ambassadors of Hope Uganda was founded in 1984 with a mission to restore dignity and opportunity to vulnerable children affected by poverty, displacement, and social challenges. From humble beginnings supporting orphaned children, AOH has grown into a nationally recognized organization impacting thousands through education and mentorship.
