Ambassadors of Hope enhances spiritual and emotional well-being of children and youth in schools and local communities. Children and youth are engaged in activities including book reading clubs, children and youth camps, bible exposures, physical exercises, expressive arts and social support. The activities foster social cohesion, self-awareness and a sense of purpose for the children and youth.Ambassadors of Hope also provides emergency support for children, youth and families in vulnerable situations. This includes children and youth at risk, those who have been neglected, abused and violated as well as refugees in very vulnerable situations. Emergency support includes shelter, clothing, meals, medical care as well as counselling for their mental and emotional well-being. Ambassadors of Hope collaborates with relevant agencies to provide referrals, complementing care and integrating children and youth back into community.Ambassadors of Hope emphasizes the principles of child protection and safeguarding including Do No Harm, Non-Discrimination, Child participation, Confidentiality, Best interests of the child and Family unity.
