Ambassadors of Hope Uganda was founded in 1984 with a mission to restore dignity and opportunity to vulnerable children affected by poverty, displacement, and social challenges.

From humble beginnings supporting orphaned children, AOH has grown into a nationally recognized organization impacting thousands through education and mentorship.

Yasin Ssentumbwe – Lawyer Since He Was Just 10yrs

From orphaned beginnings to becoming a legal advocate for justice.Yasin joined Ambassadors of Hope as a total orphan and was nurtured through the Bugolobi Literacy Program. Today, he is a practicing lawyer committed to defending the rights of the less privileged, using his voice to stand for justice while supporting and uplifting his siblings and family.

Dr. Robert Kalyesubula – Nephrologist

From school dropout to one of East Africa’s leading medical professionals.Having joined Ambassadors of Hope during the war in the 1980s after dropping out of school, Dr. Kalyesubula rose against all odds to become a leading nephrologist in East Africa. Today, he not only saves lives but also leads ACCESS, an organization dedicated to serving vulnerable communities in Nakaseke.
